When considering xDSL service for your home or business be aware there are two separate parties involved in providing you with a xDSL connection. First there is Qwest (the phone company) that provides the phone line (which you may already have) and equipment to sustain xDSL service on that line.

Just like Caller ID or Voice Messaging your phone line may or may not be able to support xDSL service. To verify weather or not your phone line supports xDSL you can call 1-877-634-2327 to speak to a Qwest representative. If the xDSL service is available on your current phone line, it works similar to splitting your line in half. You can talk or send and receive faxes on one half of the line, while the other half will send and receive information to and from the Internet.

With Qwest you will incur a monthly charge for adding xDSL to your phone line. Qwest will also charge a one time initial setup fee, along with a charge for either an Internal or External Modem. Please contact a Sihope sales representative or visit Qwest at www.qwest.com/jump/dsl/ to find out more information on Qwest's current pricing information. The second portion of ordering xDSL is choosing your ISP. Sihope's Internet service fees are in addition to the monthly Qwest fees.

We can place your order of DSL with Qwest and that includes the rental of a DSL modem. You will need to rent a modem provided by Qwest and must agree to the Rental Terms of Use Agreement from Qwest. Just by using the modem, you agree to these terms so if you would like to read it, click here to view the Rental Terms of Use Agreement.
